Year of the Dragon

Through a series of encounters, the film explores the essential nature and latent potential of these characters within a fairytale world shaped by emotion, memory, and imagination.

At its center is Lotus, the film’s protagonist, who must gather the courage to step onto her own path and open herself to the world. Loosely inspired by a transformative year in the life of Adéla Gajdošová, the film connects her Czech-Chinese roots through a poetic allegory about destiny, freedom, and becoming. Following a simple idea — that good intentions are ultimately rewarded by fate — the film reflects on the uniqueness of every human journey and on the trust we place in our own destiny. Everyone can become a fairytale.
Zodiac Zodiac
is a documentary film poem and, at the same time, a cinematic riddle. It is inspired by the small talk of the horoscope realm. The princess’s question, “So guess, what sign am I?” sends the knight to a series of advisers, each born under a different star and therefore offering their own perspective, prejudices, and expectations. What emerges is a mosaic of what horoscopes mean for Generation Z — not as esotericism, but as a space in which our values, relationships, and identities are reflected.

Creature of the Sun
Childlike imagination, innocent playfulness, and a sense of wonder at the world lie at the heart of this poetic film. Its young protagonists speak of their dreams, fantasies, and experiences while touching on metaphysical questions of body and soul, life and death. A sense of enchantment permeates every frame of this richly colored collage.
